If you are in a Medicare Advantage plan today, your plan must send you an Annual Notice of Change by September 30 that spells out exactly what is different for 2027. Read it before the Annual Enrollment Period (Open Enrollment), which runs October 15 through December 7.
If your plan is leaving your county, you will get a separate notice and a Special Enrollment Period to choose new coverage. If you do nothing, you may be returned to Original Medicare without drug coverage, so it is worth acting during the window.

What does it mean that a plan is “changing” for 2027?
It means the plan is offered in Dallas County in both 2026 and 2027, but its 2027 listing in the CMS Landscape file differs on its premium, drug deductible, plan type, or name. The count does not say whether a change is better or worse for you; your plan's Annual Notice of Change does.
Does a plan leaving my county mean I lose Medicare?
No. Original Medicare (Parts A and B) continues no matter what happens to any Medicare Advantage plan. What ends is that plan's coverage in your county, and you get a Special Enrollment Period to pick a new Medicare Advantage plan or return to Original Medicare with a stand-alone Part D plan.

This page publishes only the counts. The plans themselves, their premiums and their benefits are plan-specific information we do not list. Your Annual Notice of Change, Medicare's Plan Finder at Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or a licensed agent can tell you what applies to your plan.
When can I switch?
During the Annual Enrollment Period (Open Enrollment), October 15 through December 7, for coverage starting January 1, 2027. If your plan is leaving, you also get a Special Enrollment Period. Medicare Advantage members get one more chance January 1 through March 31.

A plan counts as leaving when it was offered in the county for 2026 and is not offered there for 2027. A plan counts as changing when it is offered in both years but its 2027 listing differs on something a member would notice: the premium, the drug deductible, the plan type, or the plan name.
